My husband, Ryan and I are thrilled with the recent kitchen remodel Graddy Construction facilitated for our family home. We could not have chosen a better company to partner with.

After speaking with several contractors, Mercer was the only contractor we were comfortable having in our home. Mercer was quick to respond to our inquiry and extremely responsive addressing any questions we had. He was the last contractor we spoke with and the first to provide us with a proposal and estimates. He does not allow grass to grow under his feet. Mercer and Ken are very professional and extremely knowledgeable. When it came time to discuss design, Mercer and Ken were helpful utilizing their experience to give suggestions on current market trends, but allowed us to make the final design decisions with their full support. Mercer worked with my schedule to arrange meetings with his team for material selections, as well as attended each meeting alongside me. He was with me during each step of the process.

Mercer’s team’s worked extremely quick to complete their phase of the project. They were respectful of our home and kept the workspace extremely clean throughout the project. Mercer was constantly in communication with us as to where the project stood as well as the tasks for each day. He worked very hard to ensure that the inconveniences of not having a kitchen were kept to a minimum. Mercer was hands on during this project and he takes great pride in the quality of the work he does as well as the owners satisfaction. This project was small in comparison to his past projects, but he treated this remodel as if it were the most important project he’s worked on.

The end results far exceeded our expectations. Graddy Construction will be our only partner for future renovations and remodeling projects. If you are looking for a professional team with experience, an extensive skill set and a trustworthy team, look no further than Graddy Construction.

By way of background, I have personally developed for Mictrotel Inn and Suites and have been part of the development team of nearly three dozen branded hotels in varying markets throughout the U.S. since 1998. I have known, and had the pleasure of working with Mercer Graddy since 2008 when his company was selected as the General Contractor for the construction of the 78 room Microtel Inn and Suites located at 3930 St. Mary’s Road, Columbus, Georgia. My company, SKY Hospitality, has also managed the hotel for the investors since it opened over 6 years ago.

Graddy Construction, Inc. did an excellent job in every way. Mercer built a team that delivered a quality product within a minimal time frame and their work has stood the test of time. The hotel just received an “A” on its most recent quality assurance inspection by Wyndham and there were no issues with product condition noted although the hotel has run high occupancies and it’s approaching six years old.

I enjoyed working with Mercer Graddy and his team and would not hesitate to partner with them on a hotel project in the future.

It is with great pleasure that I take this opportunity to introduce you to Graddy Construction, Inc and to its President, Mercer Graddy.

Since 2008,  Graddy Construction, Inc. has constructed three projects for me and my Partners.

The first project they built for us was a $3,500,000 78-bed four story Microtel Hotel on St. Mary’s Road in Columbus, GA. The quality of the construction was exemplary and the project was built on time and on budget. Microtel representatives told us that it was the first Microtel to their knowledge that had no outstanding punch-list on the scheduled completion date.

In 2010, my company purchased an existing 8-building apartment project in Carrollton, GA consisting of two and three story wood frame structures. We engaged Graddy Construction, Inc. to assist us in establishing remodeling costs and a time frame for construction, and for performing the improvements. Included in their work was the rehabilitation of the Club House and Leasing Office structure. New signage was placed throughout the project. Fire protection systems were installed in the 3-story structures. And, pavement repair work implemented where needed. City of Carrollton officials expressed to us how pleased they were at the work done and how much the project upgraded the community. The Graddy Construction, Inc contract was in the amount of $500,000.

The third project was the purchase in 2012 and restoration of a 7-building concrete frame apartment development in Athens, GA. All apartment buildings were 2-story structures and all apartments units contained one bedroom. In addition to painting and bringing exterior balconies and stairways to code, renovation included the removal and replacement of all interior finishes, appliances and numerous HVAC systems. The total construction costs was $2,500,000. Graddy Construction, Inc. successfully renovated all structures within the scheduled construction period. In addition, with a 60-day time extension to the base agreement they constructed a new Club/Leasing office and recreational pool area. The City of Athens enthusiastically applauded the work efforts.

I look forward to developing future projects on which Graddy Construction, Inc. is the general contractor and recommend that you give them serious consideration for your upcoming project.

Leslie and I could not be happier with the 100% kitchen renovation that Graddy Construction Company handled for us. We drew some pictures and showed Mercer what we wanted to do and he took it from there. His crew, along with his sub-contractors did a magnificent job. A new hardwood floor, completely new all-wood cabinets, backsplash, wall paneling, ceiling, appliances, electrical and light fixtures.

An unexpected structural change was no problem. In the end, our new kitchen is beautiful, comfortable, well lit, inviting and efficient with lots of space. The project took approximately 8 weeks and Mercer came by everyday and sometimes more than once to see that the work was done correctly and that we were satisfied. He stayed within our budget, and all costs and profit on the job were completely transparent. His company is the best and Mercer is a pro in our opinion.
